💔💔💔💔😥 #Repost @the_elephant_lover83 with @make_repost ・・・ Disturbing photos have emerged of the injuries elephants have suffered at the hands of their handlers in Thailand. Images posted to social media show the animals with blood dripping from their heads after keepers repeatedly hit them with sharp metal hooks. These animals are not domesticated. They’re beaten daily, chained when not working and denied access to proper food, enough water, rest and shade from the scorching sun. This is your elephant ride! Do you still want to ride ? #elephantride #dontrideelephants Never ignore the #bullhook it is not a fairy stick the handlers waves over the elephants to make them keep moving, this a weapon and weapons cause pain, that is its sole purpose. #animalabuse #captivitykills #animalrights #torture #elephants #letlive #saveelephants #freedomforelephants

Credit ©🎬📷🖋 @elephant_stories_with_fiona This is the choice of weapon favoured at #phnompenhsafari located in #Cambodia. The management at #phnompenhsafari condone the use of hitting, poking and inflicting great pain on their elephants. This young elephant looks haunted. Her life miserable as she dances uncertainly and lifelessly goes through the motions whilst the mahout pokes and prods her into action. This is all so the tourist will pay for a bucket of fruit to feed them, or take a selfie standing next to them. This little girl remains on my mind and in my heart and with the realisation that if we don’t share these videos, leave messages on @phnom_penh_safari FB page, alert @tripadvisor and make a noise her life will continue to be a one of standing on hard concrete, swaying and dancing and being brutalised by a #bullhook. Our campaign will move through different phases and we ask you to give/maintain your support as we prepare for the next launch into Cambodia with a Khmer translation. Concurrent activities are taking place. Our silence is not stillness. Thank you for the overwhelming support and let’s keep building this because the power of united voices becomes a roar for change toward ethical choices for tourism and elephants. Thank you Fiona 🐘💙

近年泰國的大象經常被逼成為不少娛樂行業的生財工具,除了騎大象之外,還有很多殘酷大象表演。如果大象不聽話就會被暴力對待,或者用繩索、鐵鏈捆綁大象,以防止牠們亂動。

This weekend had a lot of first's for me. I spent 11 hours #protesting the #JordanWorldCircus at the #PuyallupFair Not the first time I have protested that awful #circus but the first time I hosted the protest. There were times I was completely alone which is my biggest fear when protesting, but I did it!! It was terrifying but I still did it!! Eventually more people showed up to help me which was amazing!! And thank you to all of you! I #recruited my first circus family!! As they were leaving the circus and saw me standing with my sign yesterday they stopped to talk (they looked #horrified) after talking with them- I gave them some info and I told them to come back and protest with us. She went home and did her own home work and came back with her own hand made sign today!!! Mom and daughter (their first protest) they were #heartbroken about what they saw with the #abuse that was so blatant!
